- Lao Tzu
Dr. Hodges graduated with honors from a pre-med study program at Nazareth College of Rochester with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Biology. She earned her Doctorate degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in KC, Missouri in 1983.

After graduating, Dr. Hodges opened a multi-disciplinary healing practice that employed chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and nutritionists. She currently serves as the director of the Maryland Disc Institute in Arnold, Maryland, which focuses on the non-surgical repair of herniated discs. Dr. Hodges has continued her postgraduate education with focuses on Whiplash and Spinal Trauma (CCST), Sports Injuries (CCSP), and studies in naturopathy. As a result of testifying in auto-accident cases, Dr. Hodges is also qualified as an expert in 5 counties. “Each patient is a complex puzzle of health issues. My job is to solve that puzzle and motivate them to seek a healthier lifestyle."

Through the Maryland Disc Institute, Dr. Hodges employs the revolutionary, FDA-approved Spinal Decompression technology to help her patients achieve pain free, healthy lifestyles. Spinal Decompression has been the most important medical advance in the non-surgical, non-invasive treatment of back pain in the past 10 years. This technology is presently being utilized by neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractic physicians, family physicians, pain specialists, and physical therapists across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
"We now can help patients that prior to Spinal Decompression would have had to live in pain for the rest of their lives. Patients come to us from all over. They come to us when other treatments have failed to give them relief."
